Emily Sun

Bio: 

Emily Sun is Associate Professor of Foreign Languages and Literature at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, where she also founded and directs the Center for Comparative Literature. 

Research: 

18th- and 19th-century British and European literature, politics and aesthetics, literary theory, and topics in comparative East-West aesthetics. 

Selected publications: 

Author of Succeeding King Lear: Literature, Exposure, and the Possibility of Politics, co-editor of The Claims of Literature: A Shoshana Felman Reader. She has published in and guest-edited such journals as Studies in Romanticism, Romantic Circles Praxis Series.
