Yaminay Nasir Chaudhri

Bio: 

Yaminay Chaudhri is a visual artist and founder of the Tentative Collective—an organisation that creates work in, and interrogates ideas of, ‘public’ space. Recent projects include Mera Karachi Mobile Cinema which has hosted collaborative site specific projections in neighbourhoods of Karachi, independent combined-media performances including Separation’s Geography, and various video and writing projects about longing in the city. 

Chaudhri has a degree in architecture from Cornell University, and an MFA in combined media studio arts from State University of New York at Albany. She has taught at Karachi University, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, SZABIST and the Aga Khan University.
