Minh Tsai is founder and tofu maker at Hodo Soy Beanery, Oakland, Ca. US. Hodo is the premium tofu company in the US, and supplies its organic tofu products to the best restaurants and retail stores. In addition to operating the business, Minh teaches food manufacturing operations, consults with food start-ups, and sits on various non-profit boards, including DVAN (Diaspora of Vietnamese Artists Network) whose mission is to promote works of Vietnamese artists and writers across the globe. Minh graduated with a bachelor degree in Asian Studies and master’s degree in Economic Development from Columbia University, and has worked in finance and management consulting prior to becoming a tofu ambassador. Minh is an avid reader and writer in his spare time and his passion for literature and art leads him to this conference.
